Nokian are a specialist winter tyre company based in Finland. They have recently brought out a pretty interesting summer tyre too. but as a rule cold weather tyres is their niche. Back in 1934 Nokain produced the first ever winter tyre and they have continually invested in research and development to ensure that they stay at the forefront of winter tyre technology. Nokian are not especially well known in the UK, but in mainland Europe their winter tyres are held in good regard, especially in Scandinavia where drivers are very loyal to this Finnish company.
